Dinner last night

So dinner last night was pretty straight forward...burgers and fries. I used a combination of meat for the burgers...turkey and beef. I added my own mixture of seasonings and instead of bacon, I used pancetta. There was a ranch mayo for some extra flavor and the fries were crispy enough that they didn't need any ketchup.

Not too shabby for a Monday night meal. The only thing missing was some fresh Wisconsin cheese...next time.

Thai Food

Thai food is very appetizing, but it is also one type of food that I have never tried to make...I may have to do some research on it and do a little experimenting. Any suggestions are welcome.

Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

Today was a perfect day for baking...it is dreary outside and a nice warm cake with a cold glass of milk is a perfect way to spend the evening. Ok...maybe not the perfect evening, but at the very least, a tasty evening.
Now...Mike suggested I take before, during and after pictures of the goodies I create and I must concur that it is a pretty cool way to share what I've created.

A nice warm oven, waiting patiently for the door to close. In an hour and half, there will be a warm cake begging to be eaten.

The final product.
